Overview
PERIODONTOLOGY- It is a unique branch that deals with imparting knowledge about etiopathogenesis, management and treatment of periodontal disease and its sequel.
Our department is equipped with modern dental chairs and advanced diagnostic instruments, also has separate undergraduate and postgraduate clinics.
Wide range ofnon surgicalproceduresincludes (scaling, root planning and local drug delivery) and surgical procedures like (access flap surgeries, muco- gingival surgeries, Aesthetic surgeries) regenerative surgeries and implants are in the department.
Advanced surgical procedures are done in separate implantology unit.This unit is equipped with laser unit, piezoelectric unit, electrocautery unit, implant unit microsurgical loops and instruments
Our department has a well equipped library with attached digital library.
Our department has separate seminar hall equipped with audio- visual aids.
